Difference between synopsis and thesis

Synopsis	Thesis
A brief summary of the proposed project.	It is a final product or final report of the research.
Precis in length.	More comprehensive.
Include only major points.	It includes all details.
It is a kind of proposal.	It is a kind of final report.
It describes what the researcher intends to do and why.	It describes what the researcher has done, why has done and what are the findings.
Written at the beginning of a research project.	It written after the completion of the whole research project.
Findings are not included.	Findings & conclusion are main.
